Waiver of Liability Notice
By executing this document you waive certain legal rights on behalf of yourself and your family. You should read this document carefully before signing it.
WAIVER: I the undersigned, am the parent, legal guardian, or legal caretaker of the participants listed on this document. In of the listed participants being permitted to participate in the event described below; waive and release all causes of action and claims for myself, or employees for injury or illness arising out of or caused by participation in the Meade Rod & Gun Club Youth Fishing Rodeo, held on this 6th day of April 2019.

Rules and Regulations for the Meade Rod & Gun Club Youth Fishing Rodeo
Participants must abide by all rules and laws as set forth by the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
No boats are allowed.
Wading and/or swimming are not permitted.
Only youths fifteen (15) or younger will be eligible to participate in the event.
All participants thirteen (13) or younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times while participating in the event.
All rodeo participants must be registered prior to weighing fish for the event.
Registration for the event will start at 8am.
Registration for the event will close at 11am.
Age groups are 3-6, 7-11, and 12-15.
Participants may weigh all fish caught between 8am and 12noon at the Weigh-in Station.
Weigh-ins for the event will close at 12noon.
Although the consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted in the picnic areas by persons twenty one (21) years or older, Meade Rod & Gun Club asks all parent, legal guardian, or legal caretaker of the participants to refrain from partaking of alcoholic beverages during the Fishing Rodeo. This event is for the children!
All participants are reminded to dispose of all trash during the event and to clean up the areas where they were fishing. Trash bags are available upon request at the Registration station.
Participants must be present at the Award Ceremony to receive any awards.
Metals are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for each age group.
A metal and trophy will be given for largest and smallest fish weigh-in.
Note the largest fish trophy is open at all age groups. The smallest fish trophy is reserved for only for the 3-6 age group. Only the largest fish caught per participant will be recorded. So the smallest fish will be the smallest of the recorded for the 3-6 age group.

Ft. Meade Visitor Access rules are in affect. All non-DoD card holders require preregistration to access the base.
If you do not have one of the following IDs (military, retiree, dependent or CAC), than you will need to be pre-registered with the Post Visitor Control Center (VCC).
You can go to the VCC yourself or by checking this box below one of the Executive Officers will reach out to you to get you preregistered for the event.
